The tour, designed by the Williamstown Historical Commission and hosted by the Williamstown Historical Museum, includes 72 buildings or sites of buildings in Williamstown of historic interest.

It is designed as a “windshield tour.” You can begin anywhere, but the designers of the tour believe that beginning at #1, on the west end of Main St., is probably the most efficient way to see all 72 sites. Some of the buildings on the Williams College campus can be entered, but note that most of the houses are private residences. Please do not enter those properties.

Visitors taking the tour who wish to see only a subset of the 72 – for example, historic churches -- can click on one of the following “tags,” and will be directed to churches.
