Tom,
I really enjoyed your seminar today. I am a Williams alum class of 1961. I am a map maker and you can find my global map of the ocean sea floor and a vast number of other data sets by downloading. geomapapp.org and. gmrt.org
I also have an app called: polar-explorer.org that is a learning tool about sea level change and presents the relevant information in Maps.
Perhaps some of your students can try it out.
I have fond memories of my four years at Williams, co-majoring in physics and mathematics. I was an alumni trustee in the 1990s. So I have stayed connected to Williams.

Subject: Hello from an Eph mapper
Hi Tom,
I learned about you and Pixeum from the recent Williams notes about your Winter Study class. I knew I had to make a connection: I'm an '06 physics major who put some classes in art and geology to use indulging a hobby for drawing fantasy-style maps. My personal portfolio site is here: https://josephshoer.com/maps/ And, if you don't already know it, you should definitely check out the Cartographers' Guild forum, where many fantasy mappers much more skilled than I hang out.
Best,
